Sport Corner #11 : UEFA’s HatTkick program and Sport’s governance
The 11th episode of Sport Corner gathers Karl-Erik NILSSON, 1st Vice-president of UEFA and Chairman of the HatTrick Committee and Bogdan Brunon WENTA, Vice-Chair of the Sports Intergroup
The UEFA HatTrick programme has been launched in 2004, its goal is to provide financial support to the UEFA member associations in their tasks to develop and foster football at all levels within their territories. Karl-Erik Nilsson is chairing the HatTrick Committee since 2017.
The European Parliament has recently adopted the report on “an integrated approach to Sport Policy: good governance, accessibility and integrity”. The report adopted during the plenary session of 2 February 2017. It will be the only document entirely dedicated to sport during the current legislative period.
